At Our Lady of Perpetual Help School we believe in nurturing the mind, body, and spirit of each child by providing health awareness education and the tools to flourish in a safe and healthy environment.
OLPH School has a full-time Registered Nurse on staff. The Health Office is open from 7:45 am -2:20 pm Monday-Friday. The nurse logs every student visit to the office and monitors ongoing situations and recurrent visits by individual students. Student visits to the Health Office are communicated to parents.
OLPH School partners with Quest Food Management Service to provide an affordable hot lunch program for students in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade. Quest follows a food philosophy that focuses on fresh wholesome ingredients. Their online pre-ordering system allows you to select from a variety of healthy options each day.
OLPH School’s physical education program improves strength and endurance, reduces anxiety and stress and increases self-esteem. At every grade level, students participate in physical education classes that promote the overall health in of our students.
Students change for P.E. in grades 4-8. We also offer swimming as part of the P.E. curriculum in grades 4-8.
The School Counselor’s role is to provide professional, trained and confidential assistance to students in collaboration with parents and teachers. It is this partnership that helps students achieve their potential at OLPH School.
